| Hollandia’s heritage begins with its founder – Isaac Barssessat. In the 1970’s, he decided to give up his successful business as the leading Israeli Artichoke farmer because of a bad back. As a result, he set out to find the perfect mattress. In Holland, he came across a bed so restful that it soothed his ailing back. Isaac brought the bed to Israel and opened the first Hollandia store in 1981. |

| In 1986, Issac’s son, Avi, joined the company and transformed it into an international success that now operates in more than 120 locations throughout
Iceland, Australia, Cyprus, Holland, Israel, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Spain and the United States. |
